Our Director Dawn was on Front Row this week talking about our Inn Crowd project, which supports landlords across the South East to host live spoken word performances in their pubs. The programme A Celebration of the Pub in Culture looked at how the arts are helping to keep pubs open and we are thrilled that Inn Crowd was featured! If you missed it you can listen again here:

Our Inn Crowd South Downs Writer in Residence programme kicks off next week on 11th April with the first event taking place at the Hope Inn, Newhaven.
Lead by writer Sara Clifford, and community arts facilitator Carol Harvard, everyone is welcome between 5pm-8pm to draw and write the South Downs in words, curves, lines and marks in this free creative workshop.

The Open Air Drawing Room

To celebrate Turner Contemporary in Margate hosting the Turner Prize in October, we are very excited to announce that we have co-commissioned performer Eric MacLennan to create an outdoor show inspired by JWM Turner and the forthcoming exhibition at Turner Contemporary Seaside: Photographed. The Open Air Drawing Room will tour to fetes and festivals across Kent and Sussex this summer as part of the Applause Outdoors season.
