Legacy Day at Bore Place

The Applause team is often out and about all over the region, visiting promoters and pub landlords, and meeting with local authorities, performing companies and partners in our many projects. Last week we all had a day at beautiful Bore Place in the Kent countryside, home to the CommonWork Trust and a working organic dairy farm.

We are always looking for new ways to raise the funds we need to continue our work, and Dr Clare Routley led a really useful and thought provoking day on Legacy Donations, encouraging us to think about how we can communicate more effectively that we are a charity, and one that someone might consider leaving a gift to in their will.

It was a very inspiring day and we hope to start putting some of the ideas into practice over the coming months and years to help us ensure the long term financial stability of Applause.
